FLOYD MAYWEATHER confirmó que se hará cargo de los gasto del funeral de GEORGE FLOYD.

Floyd Mayweather pagará los servicios funerarios de George Floyd, quien fue asesinado en un incidente con la policía de Minneapolis el pasado 25 de mayo, lo que provocó indignación y protestas en todo el país, según un representante de Mayweather.
"Probablemente se enojará conmigo por decir eso, pero sí, (Mayweather) definitivamente pagará el funeral", dijo a ESPN, Leonard Ellerbe, CEO de Mayweather Promotions.
Ellerbe agregó que el ex campeón mundial de cinco divisiones ha estado en contacto con la familia de Floyd y que han aceptado la oferta.
"Floyd ha hecho este tipo de cosas en los últimos 20 años", señaló Ellerbe, quien dijo que el propio Mayweather realmente no quería hablar sobre su gesto.
Mayweather intervino para cubrir los gastos del funeral del ex boxeador Genaro Hernández, quien murió de cáncer a los 45 años en 2011. Mayweather ganó su primer título mundial al derrotar a Hernández en 1998.
Floyd murió después de que el oficial de policía de Minneapolis, Derek Chauvin, se arrodilló en su cuello durante más de ocho minutos. Chauvin, quien fue despedido, ha sido acusado de asesinato en tercer grado y homicidio involuntario en segundo grado.
